Funky Monkey is a third-person hack-n-slash action and adventure modification for Unreal Tournament 2004. You play the role of Frank, a monkey woken in his cage to the sound of screams and falling meteorites. Suddenly struck by mysterious green lightning, and subsequently charged with super-strength and intelligence... Frank must find his beloved damsel in distress, Rosie, and save L.A. from the impending Apocalypse.
The main reason for this news post is to primarily introduce the project, and also to post a few recruitment notices. Although we already have a strong team, we're currently looking for both a lead mapper and a model guy / texture artist. You can check out the Funky Monkey 'Help Wanted' section for more details on that. Otherwise, if you're just generally interested in the project, we welcome everybody to join our forums!
