Freelancer Black Dawn has come a long way since we first started, we've evolved and changed, from a small rather amateur modification team to a semi-professional group with our works. We have put a lot of hard work into the modification, and are hoping before long that we have an internal mod to play around with and test for balance. The huge systems, massive star ships and stunning visuals are still in the game, and have gotten a lot better since we first started doing them. The Halo array will be included in the mod, with the mod progressing quickly and smoothly we expect a public release with in two months, but nothing is being promised. But keep tuned! As a side note, to play on the server you have to register with an account as either UNSC or with the Holy Covenant.

New/Updated Development Team
The Black Dawn development team has finally received additional personnel with at least Class-IV simulation design skills. Personnel with less than Level-III attendance and, additionally, Class-IV simulation design skills have been terminated. Current personnel include DARK_ANGEL, APOC_SKY, AVENGER, KERRIGOR, WA-LANCER, and WEREDRAGON. They are currently hard at work to provide you, the User, with an enjoyable simulation of highly primitive and violent naval warfare.
UNSC and Covenant Recruitment
As the User can no doubt see (attention: if a User cannot physically see, please see your Resident User Medic), the United Nations Space Command and Covenant recruitment sections are now open. This is an exciting time for all Users, as it indicates that development is moving along fast enough to open the recruitment facilities. If any User was unable to arrive at that conclusion, please report to your Resident User Medic for termination. Sign up for your preferred naval force today and prepare for war.
Development
Development of the simulation is proceeding now at a rate of roughly 7.29381 units per rel, especially in the fields of Simulation Programming, Simulation Reality Creation, and Simulation Information. We expect an internal alpha simulation within 609801 rels; a public alpha for all Users should be prepared some time after. We expect this public alpha within 3183471374162849 rels, give or take several trillion.
Physics
Simulation Programmers are now developing a Newtonian (attention: inaccuracies will be notable when traveling at relativistic velocities) physics engine for the simulation. This will provide Users with the strategic, tactical, and just overall advanced opportunities which lack of maximum velocity and inability to totally halt with respect to any stellar body bring.
