Forgotten Hope is a modification for Battlefield 1942 that concentrates on adding both a more realistic and more enjoyable playing experience than the original BF1942 and includes many new specially designed custom maps to play in. The mod includes over 250 new pieces of authentic equipment (more than any other Second World War FPS).

10/10 - Agree Disagree

BF1942, by itself, is already one of the greatest WWII games in gaming history. But Forgotten Hope does what DICE did not. It adds in the historic realism (Many weapons are now bolt action or semi-automatic instead of fully auto, for example.), while keeping it fun and exciting at the same time. Flying around in an F4F Wildcat protecting SBD dive bombers from A6M Zeros in the Battle of the Coral Sea. Transporting Fallschirmjäger (German paratroopers) in the battle of Crete. All while still enjoying the same fun as you would in BF1942. It deserves a 10/10. Easily.
