Hello and welcome back to another update of Forgotten Hope. Today we are proud to announce the first map for the 2.3 patch and show of some in-game screenshots of the Wasp Mk IIC featured in last week's update.

First up; the Wasp. This modified Universal Carrier can be found supporting Canadian troops on the battlefield by projecting flames many meters ahead. However, this tiny little armored vehicle will produce a large boom should it come under fire.

The Wasp Mk IIC was exported and coded by Kev4000.

Next up we have a map that many WWII fans should recognize; Ramelle-Neuville by Otolikos. You can view the minimap in the 'Maps' section of the website.

Sir, there's no way to tell when reinforcements might arrive. I mean, we have no idea what's happening south of us. Our orders are to hold this bridge at all costs. Now, our planes in the 82nd have taken out every bridge across the Merderet with the exception of two; one in Valognes and this one here. If we let the Germans take it, we're going to lose our foothold and have to displace.

The battle for the Merderet river took place at the small towns of Chef-du-pont and La Fière. Here, the men of the 82nd Airborne Division faced several German attacks to take control of the vital causeways and bridges. Although succeeding in defeating the attacks, they failed to maintain a foothold on the western bank, resulting in the heavy loss of life when the La Fière causeway was crossed on D+3.

That's all for this week, but be sure to come back next time for another update. Until then, feel free to visit our IRC channel and our public forums to discuss this update and other news.

Haha.. well, yes the actual battle is fictional. However we've put great detail in getting everything accurate from the film, like custom made houses, custom desaturated uniforms, custom bipodless BAR, scripted P51 bombing run and more!

Otolikos and the rest of the team went kinda nuts with this map and it's actually really quite fun to play on.

Was the FH1 Ramelle map made by Otolikos too? The one that came with one of those CustomMap Mappacks. I loved it. This new Ramelle is even more accurate to the film and I'm ******* excited for this close quarters battles :P

Oto made a Ramelle map for FH1, but I think it was not the one in Map Pack 6.
