Forgotten Hope 2 is an award-winning World War II modification for Battlefield 2TM and is based on the original Forgotten Hope, a modification for Battlefield 1942TM, one of the most popular multiplayer games ever. Battlefield 1942TM featured land, sea and air combat in a way never before seen. It was the goal of the development team to maximize the game experience by adding both a realistic and enjoyable gameplay to FH and now to FH2.

Are those spare tracks in the front?
Or just some spikes in case enemy infantry decides to tackle the tank head-on?

Just spikes.
Spare tracks incase the working ones are damaged by explosives.
and to add extra Armor
Though it is debatable just how effective tracks are as extra armour.
Something is better than nothing, and if you're going to carry spares, might as well make use of the otherwise dead weight. Though it's perfectly plausible you may end up damaging vital spares you might really need at some point the and your main hull armor would've been just fine anyways.
