Fmod isn't really a safisticated mod in the fact that there will not always be custom models for weapons very few, but never the less there will be some custom models in the game if needed i.e the paintball gun (can't keep using the SMG now can we?) Fmod is been programmed into letting the user control what they want for instance there is no more Impulse 101 this is the new structure of Fmod. Impulse 30 = Day of Defeat : Source Weapons, Impulse 31 = Counter Strike : Source Weapons, Impulse 32 = Fmod Weapons, Impulse 33 = HL2 Weapons. Impulse 34 = Stalker Weapons. Hey guys and gals, update on Fmod here for ya. Currently one of my team members proposed and idea to me which was "User Created Weapons" Now the instinctive was to just carry on making addons for the weapon_**.txt (weapon scripts) files but the new idea "User Created Weapons"

Hey guys and gals, update on Fmod here for ya. Currently one of my team members proposed and idea to me which was "User Created Weapons" Now the instinctive was to just carry on making addons for the weapon_**.txt (weapon scripts) files but the new idea "User Created Weapons" has sprung into position basically users can now create a custom weapon i.e. code it in Lua (our chosen external scripting language) and have the full tenacity of there own custom weapons. How this works is, is that you script your weapon in your favorite editor i.e. Notepad++ save it as what you like "weapon_gorillagun.lua" place that file into the directory which is "Fmod/lua/weapons/" and when you're in game press your TAB key to bring up the swep menu and select your weapon, you'll be given your weapon of choosing and there you go you can play with your whole custom weapon.

We're not showing footage of the current W.I.P Idea as of yet but in the up coming week we should have something for you. Along the lines of a video preview.
