We will soon find better hosting with less popups for you IE users so bare with us ;)

Beta Testing and Server hosting is a definite need on our part. If you are willing to host a server or would like to help by mapping/modelling/giving ideas to the modification please feel free to post here or send it to -

We would deeply appreciate if you shared your ideas and wants on the mod so we can give something to the community that they would like to play.

Currently we are using a modified GLToChris engine.
We are taking advantage of its skybox support and various other features making it more usable with Final Blackout.
Final Blackout will be released as a standalone mod therefore no need for any prior install of Quake will be needed.

Darkplaces visually and mod making is definetly superior to GlToChris without a doubt. But, we wouldn't have implemented many of the neat features in Darkplaces as we will using GlToChris to its fullest extent.

Switching engines is a great idea for darkplaces, but we set our plan up prior to these things and try to stick to it as best as possible. :)
Any new ideas you'd like us to implement into the modification ?
