NEW UPDATE - 1/14/21 - Fixed Sniper Scope FOVs.
Immersion focused "new game +" expeirence. No tagging, seeing through walls, etc. Most of the HUD and UI is removed. Manual reloads, holster your weapon, etc.
Far Cry 4: Redux by BigTinz (Hunter)
Drag patch_chn.dat and patch_chn.fat into your farcry4/data folder. If you had a previous version of Redux installed, I recommend re-downloading the vanilla patch_hd files, as these are no longer used in the mod.

- If you encounter the lip sync bug, set your subtitles to something non-english in the main menu before starting your game, then change back or turn off after the game has loaded.

Initial Release - Version 0.1 - 2/15/2020
This, like all my Redux mods is an immersion focused "new game +" experience. No tagging, seeing through walls, etc. Most of the HUD and UI is removed.
- Manual reloads
- No Lens Flares
- Holster weapons (H to holster, "aim" to draw)
- Player jumps a little higher
- Player walks a little slower
- Player does NOT auto draw their weapon after swimming, leaving a building, etc.
- All weapons unlocked from the start, but must be purchased.
- Towers remove the fog of war, but do not give free weapons
- Full map is open from the start
- Mod removes most UI elements not covered by the options menu, including mine and c4 indicators, and the crouch icon. I recommend turning off everything but loot readout, as well as disabling blinking items in the interface menu.
- More attachments for weapons
- Higher weapon FOV for all weapons
- The "87" is now a standard sidearm, and the reflex sight has been removed.
- The D2 features wood furniture by default, and has two shots
- The range of some weapons has been increased.
- Headshot damage has increased
- Most inputs are now "press" instead of "hold".
More info
- You must start a new game, or use the included save file to experience the mod as intended. Many features will not work with existing saves.
- The Karma Point display bug has not been fixed yet. Leave it set to "on" in the interface menu.
What's not finished
- Removing the friendly fire penalty. This was figured out in FC5, but so far no one knows how to remove the instant kill penalty from shooting too many friendlies. If you know how to do this, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I will give you full credit!
- Not all vehicle FOVs have been altered. They must be done individually, and there is no "FOV tool" :(

But I want to ask you this: I use FC4 v1.10 but it's cracked version. I used your mod but in my data directory there are 2 files patch_chn.dat and patch_chn.fat so maybe I can't use it. Do you have any way?
Yea patch_chn is only available in the most recent legit updates for FC4. It's prob the way FC4 modding will be from now on.
However, I don't see why this wouldn't also work if you just renamed it. So, please rename the files to patch_hd.dat/fat and copy them over to your data directory (back up your original files) and let me know how it goes.

Hi Big Tinz, I really like this mod, thank you,but ak47`s optical sights are still broken. Maybe I`ve messed something, I dunno (cracked v1.10, files renamed to patch_hd.dat/fat,started a new game). Everything else works great.
Does your version not have a patch_chn?
I'll take a look at the AK stuff again when I get a chance.

By any chance can i change the keybind for holstering weapons ?
H is not really convenient for me since i do it all the time, would like a mouse button.

Unpack the mod, then open the inputcommon.xml file. You can manually change it to any key. Repack the mod, and you're good to go.
