Hi, I'm SkilledNewbie and I'll be your mod President for this week... news - Fan Sah Wah mod for Half-Life 2

Hi everyone,

This is SkilledNewbie, Fan Sah Wah's coder/PR guy. Ben's going to be AFK for this week so I'm going to take over the mod leader position temporarily. So if you sent Ben an e-mail in the last few days, send a CC to me in order to get a faster response.

While Ben is gone, the mod will be put on hold for a little bit. Since I'm a programmer, it means I've given up any artistic talents I may have had in favor of more logical thinking. I cannot draw anything more complex than a series of straight lines. So don't expect any new media on the moddb FSW front page for at least another 6 days. However, Ben has been working hard on content creation this past week, so media updates won't be too far in the future.

Finally, I'd like to point out that we now have 10 people (8 of whom are not team members :P ) on our ModDB mod watch list. While this may not be like the hundreds that are watching Garry's mod or BM:S, it's still a very impressive amount considering we've only posted one screenshot and only a handful of news articles. It's knowing that people are interested in this mod that really pushes us to do our best. So spread the word about Fan Sah Wah and see how many people we can get on our watch list before Ben comes back. (Especially if the people can do one or more of the following: character modeling, prop/item modeling, mapping, or texture creation) :P
