Fallout 3 Total Conversion mod project to the Original Fallout game! This is an extremely ambitious project but one that we believe truly needs to be done. From what we have briefly seen out in the community there is a desire to redo the original Fallout and Fallout 2 with the new Fallout 3 Engine. We think it is important for new fans to see where it all began and see more of what really makes the Fallout genre great. We know a great deal of people do not have the interest to go back and play the game with outdated graphics and game play mechanics which is why we are going to bring a more updated version to the community.

the bad thing about this door is the fact it doesnt make sense mechanically

i guess you could put rollers or something in the gear to push it out

it wouldnt break canon

then you can argue that it moves magnetically or something

i dont know

I had always thought it was magnetic personally.

likely, but to actually be pushed out of the doorway there would have to be things in the gaps beetween the gear teeth to roll it out

meh

just a suggestion to bmake it a little more believable

have none of you seen the part when you exit the vault in fallout 1? theres a arm inside the room that grabs a part of the door sticking out, pushes it back, then rolls it in. watch that video right when your about to leave you will see.

your welcome, although i just realized that the arm dosent push it back, just rolls it in. i would suggest having it get rolled back with the arm too, seems likely it would do that.
