This mod will be meant to simulate deep space and low atmosphere fights between fleets. Its going to be somewhat like a space sim, only you will have the ability to board ships with your character and fight over the different rooms of the ship. The huge ships will be floating behemoths with a few fighters in its bays and control points all over it for the different rooms. The large ships will be very hard to destroy. Most ships will be split up into different sections with simple corridors linking them.

Happy holidays from Eternal Silence!
Since everyone is expecting much this holiday season, we figured we wouldn't let you down.
First off, please welcome Star_Viper to the Eternal Silence team. He will be helping us do graphics work.
So far, he already finished skinning three models. He skinned the EMP, rocket launcher and the bomber.
We also had our first internal alpha test the other day. So far we have a few of the weapons in game, and the shields. Not all of the coding is finished for the weapon placement yet though.
And finally, we have the winner for the Earth Faction logo contest. It was a VERY tough decision to make.
Marvin5 won the contest with this logo. It is a very good logo, and was all done from scratch. Congratulations Marvin5!! Thanks to everyone else who submitted logos!

Eternal silence looks and sounds like a good mod.I cannot get it too function on my machine.It crashes back too windows about a third of the way thruo9gh loading.I cannot find any support for this...no tech no notes no known issuse.If anyone can help please e-mail at soboog@clab.net
I am running xp-pro Ihave bf1942 with the 1.4 patch dc.35 and road to rome.I have other mods that work great.
