A mod I started working on years ago and have come back to. Based in the time between "Revenge of the Sith" and "A New Hope" but not entirely cannon, the aim is to create and unit roster and tech progression that charts the change from the Republic to the Empire. The Rebels start off quiet weak, but gain more powerful untis as they capture certain worlds. The Zann Consortium is now a hybrid between the Consortium and the CIS, idea being Tyber Zann is gathering old CIS tech and holdouts. There will be some worlds where Factions cannot recruit many of their own units, however there are powerful local units made available to them.

A quick update on the direction I plan on taking the mod

So I've done some tidying up of what I've made so far and there's a little bit more to do yet (changing spawn time for some heros, where units can be produced) once that's done I'll release as v0.6.

After that it's going to be focusing on land units, adding cheap expendable droids to the Consortium, late Republic units to the Empire and maybe adding in some 'Local' units available to everyone. Along with that I plan to add Ashoka and the Ghost to the Rebels, and maybe Darth Maul to the Consortium as in the new canon he does start to build up a large criminal organisation of his own. Finally after all the additions I'm gonna figure out how to get the unit icons showing up properly in game.

I'm also considering using another mod I was making as being a "part 2" being set post Battle of Yavin with a similar overall theme.

My time to work on this does vary, but i'll do my best to keep it going steady. If anyone has any knowledge of modding and would like to help feel free to drop me a message.
