The Enduring Freedom project is aiming to bring realistic combat simulation to the GEM 2 engine and is focused on the units involved in the initial coalition combat ops during Operation Anaconda in Afghanistan (Special Forces, 10th Mountain Div, and 101st Airborne). Conventional warfare will be presented as well. Project features and info can be located in the news section.

This is awesome, I am extremely impressed my the amount of detail you are putting into this. Just one thing, I notice that you have an HMWV parked at the range, you wouldn't find this. Officers drive white pickup trucks when on base, and if the soldiers were being transported, it would likely be on an M35 cargo truck.

Thanks man, and correct in that you seldom if ever see hmmwvs on the ranges. I was just driving around for the hell of it and it just ended up in the pic:) I definitely want to get a white pickup truck (F150, Chev, or something) modeled for the project... Need to just do a little research on which ones the Army has contracts for. M35 as well would make an excellent addition as well.

Yeah, my brother said you also see a lot of beaten up white school buses. I don't know if that is worth the time, but it would be a great piece of scenery.

Hmmm, actually now that you mention it I was actually considering the school bus idea... Even just to have for an intro to one of the training course levels - having the bus pull up to the course entrance and having the troops disembark...

Exactly, I'm really glad to see how much detail you're trying to put into this.
