Always found the battles were over too fast, I think what you have there is a good mix, but i imagine if you cranked the hull hitpoints up by a third, it'd be the sweet spot.

Maybe you should balance the whole shooting of MD and Missles to a point were the ships shoot them more then once only a round in battle. 3-4 Times would be great, as the battles are somewhat abtract for the math behind the ships battling each other to be shown to you. So if you could adjust hte weapon dmg and the hp of the ships in such maner that they fire about 3-4 shoots each round and also can stand more than just one hit in a round, that would leave the battles much more believeable.
Also anyway to add new cards to the system?

I don't suppose there's a way to change the battle animation? As in, have them run towards each other instead running parallel? Since, you know, mass accelerator lore, and model basically has the main gun pointing forward but is shooting from unseen guns on the side of the ships.

This was more of a fair fight ,with tweaks to both weapon damages and hull health. Before hand it was who ever had the most ships and battles would rarely make it into medium phase. Its still WIP but i aim to make battles longer with more tactics involved. e.g more battle phases and battle cards related to the mass effect universe.
