I've noticed a few errors in the model, mostly around the handle and another towards the front, coming from a modeler, i notice these things all the time on peoples models, and i just wanted to point them out if you didnt notice them :)
The GEC Light Pistol looks a lot like the phaser pistol from Star Trek: Enterprise. Was that a source of inspiration or just coincidence?
I don't know. I'll ask Impackte, who modeled it. Nevertheless, it's still a cool model.
The GEC is more technologically advanced, with lasers and fusion and stuff. The NMO's more conventional, and the Punks improvise.
well i drew the concept having never actually watched enterprise, so no it wasnt really a source of inspiration for me but i cant speak for impackte.

Ah, I never saw the phaser pistol from that close. Funny, I thought it was gray. (Asides the color, it's the same - yeah.)
I still think they have very similair shapes. Very different details but still similair shapes.
