Hi i am Dr.EvilTag and i created two mods so far the Battlefield 2 mod called "Dr.EvilTag's Singleplayer mod" and the Mafia:City of Lost Heaven mod called "Dr.EvilTag's Mafia Total Conservation". Most people who played Mafia have heard of the popular mod for Mafia called "Modern Mod". Well i downloaded the mod a couple of months ago and i got started putting more content into it and more and more. Soon i put some of the files from Cantrell City mod into the modern mod and now i got a mod that looks like a fully real modern city. I just want to share my creation with all of you. Here are the mods i used.
Modern Mod v2.0- A mod which brings Mafia:City of Lost Heaven to modern times. The authors are the "Modern Mod Team".
Cantrell city mod- a mod which brings the city to modern times with a new story and all. The author is ESAUL.
Mafia Trees Project-Changes trees from 2d to 3D and the author is fOWNER

So with these mods i was able to make the city of Lost Heaven go from the 1930's to the early 2000's completely!!!!! I give all the credit to the people who made the original content a few years back when those mods where released. Remember i just only combined this mods and tested them and came out with a great modern mod for Mafia! The city now looks completely modern! So give most of the credit for the people who made the mods listed above. And give me some credit for combining these mods and making them work together!
I also created a facebook page. "Like" or track it for up-to-date news, photos etc.

Wow its now 2022 and lately I been rediscovering many classic games that I used to play as a teenager back in my high school days. Running across the mods that I used to make really hit me hard in the nostalgic area seeing that I made these mods and spent countless afternoons as a 14/15 year old after school combining mods and making sure they work together to make an experience that I can share with everyone who was still enjoying the original Mafia game back in the early 2010's. Now being 23, almost 24, and seeing the work I did back when I was 14 marvels my current self almost 10 years later. I am also very happy that there are still a handful of people still giving my Modern mod a download and Mafia itself is about to be 20 years old this year!!!!!!!!!!!!! I remember I stopped developing the mod further since I got caught up in high school activates and going out more instead of spending endless afternoons in front of a computer screen. I remember as well saving up my weekly allowance to build myself a entry-level PC as a 14 year old lol, a far cry from the high-end PC I currently have working as an adult after university. I can only imagine how much more polish the mod may have been if I kept working on it and fixing the few bugs that still happened. If anyone has polished out the mod further and would like to share please contact me! I wonder if Modb will allow me to open up the mod to allow anyone to upload their version without having to contact me? Anyways special thanks to everyone who has enjoyed my Modern mod and those in the future who will enjoy this mod!

one question, when i try to steal a car, tommy say "i never see this before" and i can't go on in the history mode because in the mission when you go for the money (think the second mission) i can't get the car when give you one to steal in the garage of the Salieri's Bar, what i can do to fix this problem?, any advise
Which mission do you mean "Moonlighting" or "Molotov Party" or "Ordinary Routine".
since "Molotov Party",when in the video they teach you how steal the car, but when i try to steal one, i can't, but i do that mission only with the car they give to you, but the mission who continues i can't steal the white car and i can`t go on because Sam telling me i need to have a car
um ok i did what you did and sorry but i found no problem. I got into the car Ralphy gives you in Molotov Party & in Ordinary Routine. I am really sorry that i found no error. But if you have problems with the white car um all i can say is use the other car Ralphy gave you or use the car you stole from Morello's bar in Molotov Party. Im really sorry that i didn't find your error.

ok. Um also what version of Mafia do you have. I recommend at least having the patch 1.2 installed. If you want to completely make sure the mod will work completely have Mafia at patch 1.3 but patch 1.2 should be good enough.
