DragonBall Source is a DBZ mod for Half-Life 2's Source Engine. This mod is now a Multiplayer Mod, and not SinglePlayer like previously intended. Each character will be assigned their own specific set of attacks, with power levels balances to create fair and balanced gameplay. The main multiplayer game is a team based game with two different sub-modes, namely "Capture the Dragonballs" and "King of the Hill". The "Saiyan Saga" (first release) has been released and is currently available via the Downloads page. The next major release will be the "Namek Saga" containing even more characters and maps. There will also be more features, which will mainly focus on transformations. The new character list hasn't been decided upon yet, but there should be between 15 and 20 extra characters to choose from.

Well we're back with the weekly updates, give or take a day or two here and there (just like the days before i decided to make the new site etc). This update is the (i think) 7th in line to these weekly updates since we started them, but the 2nd proper teaser video, showing you new and before unseen components of DB:Source.

Firstly, the sound you hear playing was done by our SoundFX guy, Zero, and the code which fully generates the Aura's shape (no models or sprites here) was programmed by Gundy. It won't stop there with the aura's though, expect to see other features in the future, such as the aura giving off light, wind effects, rising rubble (like in the show), particle systems, and of course, the player/npc models within the aura, giving off some quality power up animations.

As always, you can provide us with much needed feedback on our forums.

Ok those mirrors...
