Dota Source is a mod for the source engine (duh) that is based around warcraft 3's map dota. It is a idea that i have had for a long time and am now finally turning into a actuall mod with the help of others. We plan to remodel everything to avoid to much legal issues and up the detail. There will be alot of new content with over 60 heroes and literally 100's of spells and many many items. Sorry but i have (finally) officially named this mod dead due to lack of development mostly due to us discovering Heroes Of Newerth about a year ago. Its like dota on its own engine, pretty well done.

Hey guys and gals, I am finally back! Finished my 2nd job, got a bit of time and most important of all, got my PC back!
Yes i am back, and with a kick arse PC ready to do some modding! I am guessing that after having been away for so long i will require to remake the team. So if your on the team and still interested, just write a comment on this news article, i will give it a week and then kick all non-participating people after sending them a PM.
And that brings me to my next point ... Recruitment ... again :( Yeah we will practically need everything again so if your interested contact me how ever you prefer with what talent you have and so on.
On the actual mod its self theres not much changed in our goals, but still open to suggestions.
