System requirements: Zen 3 or better: 8GB GPU: Medium preset @ 2k 60fps RTX 3080 12GB: Medium preset @ 4k 60fps RTX 4090 : I have pushed the engine to the brink of failure which since raytracing injection competes with game logic on 1 core, and mip map generation increases draw call overhead substantially with mega high resolutions you need a modern CPU to play it without framedrops. Textures have been noised up between gigapixel passes and calibrated to look like detail texture layering using AI upscaler denoise pass. I also have done some hand clean up in paint.net. All layers have received love. This mod is not fully compatible with BFG Edition (Raytracing!), and was made for the original version. It is not perfect. At some angles there are lines on the character models faces as a consequence to how the engine was built and higher resolution makes it more obvious. The game will crash taken over 4k resolutions with Lovelace maxed out version of this mod as mem. runs out.
A 35gb mod should guarantee photorealistic graphics, the definitive visual pack. But I see only huge pack with weird upscaled textures, which look worse than the original game; no hd models, no improved materials or effects, nothing new and it's impossible to play without crashes.
most of the textures are the same, but resized. looks like **** smeared all over the place. 1/3 of the textures have a black line in the middle. 35 gb of wasted cloud storage.
Stay away. Useless bloatware.
It just outright doesn't work, I wish it could have been addressed but all the other mods work but this one. I'll give it a 4 based on what I see in the pictures. I'll change it when the creator makes the mod easier to install for everyone.
PS - The creator only leaves good comments in the comment section and deletes the bad ones. SO, definitely rescoring it to a 1... Please don't be like that.
ANOTHER NOTE - The creator decided to harass me in my messages claiming to be some sort of supreme being above us silly dumb people I have proof I'd love to show anyone curious, funniest thig I've ever seen on this site. (it was very strange honestly lol he even brings up darwin)
Pretentious crap
there's no point in increasing texture resolutions and doing nothing with the rest. it's not worth leaving the game extremely heavy and with low fps without any significant improvement.
