Using D3EE with mods:
Doom 3 will auto-load D3EE alongside your mods by default, but if a mod fails to detect D3EE you simply copy D3EE files from \base folder and paste them in that \mod folder, then just load the mod from the in-game menu and it should work.
You don't need to copy or paste any files for RoE and The Lost Mission, D3EE supports those by default.
For RoE use:
doom3.exe +set fs_game d3xp +set fs_game_base base
(or just launch it from desktop shortcut or steam game library)
For The Lost Mission use:
doom3.exe +set fs_game d3le +set fs_game_base d3xp
(or just use the batch file that comes with The Lost Mission)
(If you're using dhewm3 change doom3.exe to dhewm3.exe)
TL;DR just launch the games and mods like you would normally, if a mod does not detect D3EE you simply copy D3EE files from \base folder and paste them in that mod's folder, then load that mod like you would normally.
Aspect ratio changed but menu still says it's 4:3:
4:3 is just a menu text (hardcoded option so not possible to fix without breaking compatibility with mods) the selected format will be applied after you press apply, if you restart the game the menu might say it's still 4:3, but the aspect ratio shouldn't be affected by that, the changes only take effect after you press apply.
Tip:
Add zzzzz_ prefix to the name of D3EE files if the mod you're using overwrites D3EE changes or if you want to make sure D3EE changes are loaded after the changes of the mod you're using.
Uninstalling D3EE:
To uninstall D3EE remove td_improvements and zpakXX files from \base, \d3le and \d3xp folder.

Saw a bug with the HUD: The meter in the Oxygen/Enviro popup doesn't appear.
Works fine here, guessing you're not running this on vanilla Doom 3?

yes the key is already bind.
i guess what i mean what not working is when you get the pda from the beginning. after says click to continue. it wont go pass it.
Not sure what's happening, works fine here, don't know what to tell you other than try restarting the game or the level
its working now. im guessing it need time to set itself or something. not sure what that was about. but weird. but the pda thing is working now though. so its no longer a issue as of now.
will it work with mods like: S.T.A.R. 1088 an MODPlus?
do you know how to get the terminal doom mod working? how do i start the terminal? what do i need beside ultimate doom wad?
also, hwo come my widescreen is not staying on?
The patch should work with any mod of the game, it will always be loaded before your mod.
Modplus is an autoexec file, should work fine with the patch.
I haven't really tested Terminal Doom so afraid I can't really help you there, sorry.
The Screen Format is just a menu thing, the actual setting is applied and saved to the config file every time you press apply.

You just have to load your mod from the "mods" menu like any other mod.

If the game is working after you install Enhanced Edition then it means your game is already updated to 1.3.1, therefore you don't need it

You can move the installer wherever you want, it should give you the option to change install path after you start it.
How i can fix aspect ratio in gameplay for 21:9in RoE? I have Doom 3 - Aspect Ratio - 21.9.7z but this is only for Doom 3

Hey, just checked the 21:9 fix, it should work fine with D3EE so no need for an addon, just install it alongside D3EE and you should be good to go.
Hi bro, i have tested D3EE mod and there is no fix for aspect ratio 21:9 and 32:9 and it doesn't work. Its only empty command in menu. For support 21:9 and 32:9 you need edit gamex86.dll.
I'm not sure, D3EE doesn't use a custom .dll so it should work with all mods, even the ones that use a custom .dll, maybe you should use dhewm3 instead of that 21:9 and 32:9 fix you're using, dhewm3 has native 21:9 and 32:9 support, there's even an addon for it in the addons section.
dhewm3 also doesn't work. Hud is correct and nice, but gameplay is stretched from 16:9 to 21:9. "Doom 3 - Aspect Ratio - 21.9.7z" work correctly, but its only for doom3 and not for RoE.

Is there a way to go back to the vanilla doom 3 menu? I play in polish and the ui is messed up and doesn't display the proper strings, and when I try to change the language from the game menu the game doesn't do it because it doesn't contain the strings. I downloaded the translation from here: Moddb.com
Yes, you can just remove zpakXX from base, d3xp and d3le folders inside your Doom 3 folder.
I worked around this by copying the language file from the english version of doom 3 and renaming it to different names, but now the game doesn't load custom .pk4 files.
