yes, I installed the latest rbdoom3bfg. but when I try to start a new game it doesn't open and goes back to the main menu.the game only launches if I use the rbdoom3bfg executable, but without the hidef textures.

I've been playing doom 3 and so far I'm liking it but just one question whenever I come across any lights I get these blue bloom beams that admit of them and on the weapons and in the environment is that normal? this only happens when playing the RBhidef.exe version of doom 3.

In a few areas I'm getting these blue lights sticking through wall and coming out of floors, any idea how to fix these? I've tried the seta r_skipBloom 1 with no success.

there's light glitches goin on because I've just tested this mod again and I tried alpha labs sector 1 and at first it doesn't happen but once you enter the EPD laser room that's where it begins. It starts at the beginning of the game aswell but to save time just go into dev and load alpha labs like that.

Try just deleting those two files after installing patched 3.3.

Hi, I have some questions about running in BFA mode.
Ya I get that I am supposed to click the exe to run it.
But!!!
How can I run the game with my BFA options turned on? For example, if I launch with CDL then I can set my options. Even though I set them as default, they only seem to take if I go through the launcher.
Well, then that begs the question of how can I run your exe and have my BFA settings? (Launch straight into Doom 3 and no intro videos)

you would have to make a bat file with all your options in it for bfa
and add +set fs_game_base hidef
