Overview Millions were infected with the "disease." That's what they called it at first. It happened over the course of one night, appearing in certain cities and towns throughout the entire country. No one knew how it was transmitted, so everyone feared it. Most inside the infection zones died within a day, but for unknown reasons thousands lived through it, left with disturbing physical abnormalities. The government moved in to quarantine the infection zones while the mutated survivors were transferred to health stations for treatment. Rioting escalated as families were torn apart. Many mutated survivors turned to violence, banding together and demanding answers that no one had. Two weeks later, a large group broke through a quaratine and rode away from the cities, raiding stores and kidnapping people seemingly at random. You are Mark Cadre, moving away from the quarantined cities with your fiance when an encounter with a rogue group of mutants draws you into the conflict....
