Finally - Beta 07

It's been a long time coming, but here it is - Beta Version 07 of Dibella's Watch. I also included some smaller changes in the package in a patch (Beta0701Update).

This version introduces the long awaited in-game map which will make exploration of the continent a lot easier for new players. The coordinates on the map are still a bit off in some parts, but it's rather good anyways, if I say so myself. I did it as a separate .esp-addon, since it will probably expand a lot with all the new land and locations being added.

Other news with this update includes several new meshes. There's a cart and a weapons rack for decoration and there's a completely new church building at the Seldora Monastery. This new church is very authentic early medieval.

...And the Next Step

Update 07 is very important in the sense that it sets the stage for effective modding in the future. I needed to get it over as an .esm asap, since there were severe problems created during modding the .esp (Plugin File). Master Files, or .esm's, can also be expanded in the infinite, it seems, so the sky's the limit for the mod now!

I'm therefore also back to creating the fun, artistic stuff! In the next update, you'll get more of the castles, villages, quests and landscapes - yes, the impressive and fun stuff - that this mod has come to be known for. The in-game map was a result of popular demand, by the way, so you can still affect the direction of the mod by submitting your own ideas and comments. Everything like that is really highly appreciated!

Download and Installation

With 07, the mod has gone from being a single .esp-file to being a .esm (Master File) this time around. This will make modding it much easier and not so much of a hassle. Installing the mod will require some more thought though, so be sure to follow the detailed installation instructions supplied in a text file and packaged in the .zip. The Master File is unfortunately not Load Order Independent yet, but will be so in future updates of the mod, so this means that the DibellasWatchBeta07.esm has to be loaded RIGHT AFTER Oblivion.esm.
