This is Defence Alliance on the new UT2004 engine. We have learned a lot from Defence Alliance on the UT engine, and we hope to bring all the new features and enhancements we wanted from the old engine to the new one. Bigger, better and more thrilling then anything from DA:UT. Stay tuned for news. The main gameplay will remain just like DA:UT. This time we have given much more focus to the AI that will support players much better. We also now give the ability for players to attack. Teamplay will be very important to win on either side.

We have been in serious discussion as a team regarding to how our release is going to be handled. However, some final decisions have been made.

At first, we will not announce an official release date until the mod is complete. We do not want to claim that we can be ready at any given date and then something comes up and we fail to deliver.

Secondly, Defence Alliance 2 will be a FilePlanet exclusive in the beginning. However, it will only last for three (3) days and not a week we mentioned some time ago. It will then be available afterwards for everyone to download.

Important notice: We will soon be requesting dedicated servers that will be available when DA2 is released. Applicants will retrieve DA2 earlier than everyone as long as they can provide a server. More info, very soon.
