Defeat Into Victory III file

This scenario is for Civilization III Conquests or Civilization III Complete.

Navigate: Civilization III Complete/Conquests/Scenarios/

1. Extract the Defeat Into Victory III.Zip file into the Scenarios folder.

That should create a new folder within the Scenarios folder named ‘Defeat Into Victory’.

1. Extract Ares de Borg's 'No-Raze’ patch.Zip onto your Desktop.
2. Navigate to your Civilization III/Conquests directory and rename the Conquests.exe to Conquests ORIG. It's ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE that you do this back-up procedure.
3. If you have Civilization III Conquests, then move the Civ3Conquests.exe from your Desktop to the Civilization III/Conquests directory. Rename this exe file exactly the same as the original exe.
4. If you have Civilization III Complete, then move the Civ3Conquests2.exe from your Desktop to the Civilization III Complete/Conquests directory. Rename this exe file exactly the same as the original exe.

Use these new exe files to start the game.

These patches stop cities from being destroyed in the game.

1. Move the Defeat into Victory III.biq file into the Scenarios folder.
