"Deception" follows its own storyline outside of Strands of Destiny, but gives everyone a chance to see and use many advanced features including: New Area (Town of Carreas) - You will be able to see Carreas come alive with this new area. New Story - A compelling story that allows 2-3 hours of game play. Follow the intrigue of Geralt as he is attempting to save his oft-troubled friend Dandelion from the jaws of justice. New Artwork - The mod includes new loading screens, cutscenes, and more for your viewing pleasure. New Feature (Throwing Knives) - We will be launching an early version of the throwing knives with Deception. This will allow you more strategy with ranged units, whether they are a guard calling alarm, or a large monster wanting you as a meal. Complete Voice Overs - Deception is completed voiced by professional voice actors. This provides another layer of immersion when playing the mod. Modular - All elements of Deception will be in their source formats.

REDFlame Developer Interviews at TheWitcher.com ... a very nice spread!

My name is William Phelps and I am the lead designer for Strands of Destiny. I currently manage the project. I also work with our lead writer Piotrek Hardy to build the story and dialogue of Strands of Destiny. Let me say it's been quite a roller coaster ride building the plot, but we have a winner now.

The story brings much from the saga back, as well as continuing the story from the game itself.
As for me, I am currently finishing up a Bachelor's Degree in Game Development, leading into a Master's Degree in Entertainment Business. I managed a small studio six years ago called NetEmp, which was building an MMOG titled "The After" for PCs. It planned to revolutionize the genre outside of just grinding as is apparent in games like EverQuest 2 and World of Warcraft. NetEmp also was working on an MMOG network codenamed NEOn. This network allowed multiple independent developers of MMOs a chance to see their innovative games succeed by online distribution. Moreso, it forced game developers to have to build quality, innovative games as each game internally competed against others on the network. Besides that, I'm a gamer at heart since I could hold a controller.

I plan to bring the same quality and care I put into past projects into Strands of Destiny and future projects. REDFlame Interactive plans to take the industry by the horns and shake it up a bit, for the benefit of every gamer.
