Well maybe it's not what we had in mind for the original release, but it's better than nothing. This version only includes the campaign mode. I tried to finish up survival, but it was going to take a lot longer than I expected, and my time is very limited these days. I'd really like to release an expansion sometime in the future, that could contain things such as the Flamethrower, G-36, Survival mode, melee weapons, or even multiplayer. These were all planned to be released with the campaign mode, but they're far from finished.

Here's the system requirements, also located in the ReadMe file.

  • ================================================================
  • I. System Requirements

  • Minimum:
  • -Pentium III/1 GHz CPU
  • -512 MB of RAM

  • -16-bit DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card
  • -128 MB DirectX 9.0 compatible video card (minimum nVidia
  • GeForce or ATI Radeon class card)
  • -DirectX 9.0 or higher
  • -Keyboard
  • -Mouse
  • Recommended:
  • -Pentium III/1.2 GHz CPU
  • -1 GB of RAM
  • -1.5 GB Hard Disk Space
  • -16-bit DirectX 9.0 compatible sound card
  • -256 MB DirectX 9.0 compatible video card with hardware
  • transform & lighting (Radeon 9000 / GeForce FX or higher)
  • -DirectX 9.0 or higher
  • -Keyboard
  • -Mouse
  • Operating Systems:
  • Supported operating systems are Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista/7.

Basically, if you could run Land of the Dead, you can run Dead Epidemic.

I would really like to thank everyone for making this possible. I wish I had the time to finish the unreleased features I mentioned above, as they would make the game much more enjoyable.

If you come across any bugs, or have any issues installing/running the game, please make a post in our bug report thread on Resurrection-Studios.
