Aye, but that date refers to when Germany invaded the Soviet Union. Pearl Harbor was not bombed in June.
this was already a book. The main plot was derived from the worldwar series by harry turtledove. thankfully the colonization series was left out
I don't think the USSR had the bomb in '45....

and masterofhobbiton the USSR can have an a bomb in this game in 1945 if they want because it's an alternate history game.
techniacally, all the superpowers of world war 2 were working on there "super weapons" so the USSR was the last to be invaded by the aliens so naturally the had more time to finish theres which im sre EVERYONE in panic was sharig there information to do anything that would drive them back.
also i believe when the humans left to colonize distant worlds they 100% destroyed the earth.
regardless i love this game and it has amazing lore connected to it.
Yeah we actually kept the Germans from making their own nuke, although they easily could have used other resources concerning they didn't want to use low-quality graphite. Which is ironically exactly what they needed. They were the stroke of a pen(cil) away from building the nuke first.
you kept them from building a nuke? norwegian resistance fighters continually destroyed the germans heavy water production facilities and their heavy water, wich was being produced in northern norway, there WAS an allied attack at the same compound, but that was alot later, and if the norwegians hadn't stopped em, they probably would have had a nuke
one wierd stupid question though to the designer and or anyone that has read this series the mod is based upon, where are the jews in all of this? what happened to them? i must admit i am curious, i would find it ironic and humerous(in a macabre kind of guilty way) if i invaded a neutral system and suddenly i encountered the IDF while i was playing the germans, and then proceding with colonizing that planet?
just an example, so is there anyone that could clarify where they are in all of this?:P
any doubts i had were just crushed
