Originally inspired by the fact that you could assign tons of bots to go against you in CS:S, Dawn of the Dead was created for intense, action-packed, non-stop slaughter of zombies. Using the name from the movie, Dawn of the Dead pits you against as many zombies as you can handle. Buy ammunition, night vision, and grenades as you prepare for the onslaught of merciless zombies who want you dead. Cower in fear as you walk through near-pitchblack maps with nothing but a flashlight for a light source. It is the only way you have a chance against the enemy. They are everywhere, ready to jump out and tear you apart the first chance they get. Mess your pants as they learn how to send some of their numbers as bait so that you empty your clip into the last zombie on screen. Watch as that zombie falls with a satisfying thump onto the pile of bodies you created. Then panic as you try to reload while more zombies rush in and tear you limb from limb. As I promised more media this week here it is. These are some shots of a map made by StormSeeker.

About The Map

The map is set in the small town of Wiccanwood, and the locations in it will include, Wiccanwood Subway station, the waterworks, Wiccanwood Forest, St Wiccans Church.

The story starts with a small group of survivors, who have headed down to the subway station to avoid the oncoming infection and hordes of undead.

Days before the events of the map take place, a small group, similar to the one your in, set off down the track to try and reach the highway, by going through the old water works and Wiccanwood Forest.

Your group decides to follow them, and so the adventure starts.

This map is a smaller coop style map, similar in game play to a single player map, but with puzzles built deliberately for teamwork. Saying that it can still be played as a single player map. I think i might set it to a maximum of 6 players though, or it will become too easy.

some of the puzzles will require brain power, such as cryptic riddles, some of the puzzles are lock and key types and some of them are skill based. Usually if you fail to complete a puzzle properly there will be a penalty. This is a gauntlet style map and so, if one person dies, the team numbers grow less.

Also in the works are traps, helped by the ideas from this forum, in one of the screenshots below you will see a trap that can be utilised to help you. But most will be there simply to kill zombies, unfortunately, they will kill you too

All the traps will be designed to look like they were set up by survivors who were trying to stop any further zombies from escaping the locked down town of wiccanwood.
