A lot of work has already been done and we are ready for our first media release.

looks not bad
for a game thats supposed to be dark it sure is bright..
Those ships are freaky looking, excellent work. Now just get rid of those default homeworld skyboxes :D (that was always my pet hate about homeworld 2, the skybox nebulae look way way too bright)
I really should crack out Homeworld 2. Lots of great mods being made :D
The nebula is so bright....because is illuminated by the ...galaxis center sun ...or by a near by sun. They could try to add somne new maps ....that are not that luminous. My opinion about the ships....they look like crap....man what's ship in the video...i can't make a diference on what it is. Is it a Battlecruiser(no guns..laser etc)..a Flagshish...i do not know..
The trailer ship..LOOKS LIKE A BOX.

About the skybox and the name: I bet it will be dark like somewhere in deep space in the game.
If you click on any of the images of the carrier it says that it is a Carrier, that is the reason for no weapons. In game it is quite obvious what it is, and its purpose. I agree that the trailer does not really show off what it was for but that was not the purpose of the trailer. Also once you have production modules also on the carrier it looks much more like a production ship.
I probably should have said something earlier but this so far is one week of work, and is made only by me. I am hoping to get a mapper/3D artist in soon to help me out.
The reason we are releasing so early is because I want to get as much support from the community as possible,

I don't mean to offend you ..but..your idea is good earth against that guys...but your imagination is poor the shapes ...of the ships are preathy strange.
I'm sure this is still Wip @bady1990.
Keep working on it. But he is right.. focus on better textures for the ships etc.
Still nice work... it's allways fine to have new hw2 mods..
