QOL improvements with merged AI upscaled texture pack, Wulfen and Monoxead HD textures with all the fixes of Sikkmod 1.2 and 1.1 for Doom 3 and RoE, better models and weapons without change the game. Added new textures, some effects and fixed many others. It's 100 % vanilla friendly. Recommended for those who want a clean and correct visual experience for Doom 3 with finally fixed original bugs. The pack is for the original Doom 3 and Resurrection of Evil, compatible with Lost Mission.

Hi, thank you for this mod! I tried to install it according to your instructions in the Readme. However, even after setting to my desktop resolution in DoomConfig.cfg when the game starts up it is still in 640x480. I don't know what to do.
sockableclaw you need to run the game as administrator, then it'll keeps new settings.

If you can't solve it, try DHEWM3.
Refrain from changing settings in the game options AND in the
config file. Choose only one, then it'll stop conflicting and
thus reverting to the default minimum. That, at least, was my
experience with Doom 3 - and this strategy always worked for me.
Try setting the resolution and aspect ratio in autoexec.cfg.
The parameters you set in DoomConfig.cfg get easily overridden by other stuff when the game loads.
AMD 6900xt user here. What exactly do I need to rename the doom3.exe to, to get sikkmod lighting to work correctly? Cheers from Ojai, CA.

Very interesting! I happen to be a huge fan of the Darklord34's AI 2X Upscale pack. However, there seems to be an occasional bothersome plastic-ish glow on some of the textures, as the screenshots show it. Could be a result of an excessive sharpness or something like that. I wonder if there is an option
in the mod to eliminate that glow... Still, i am definitely curious to check
this in action, especially combined with my mod Bravo 4.2 :-) of course :-)

But i have a quick question, how do i disable the 62fps cap, i tried turning off vsync and r_swapinterval 0. but i cant turn it off, or make more fps than 60 atm. Oh and is it possible to force surround audio?? the game only lets me play it in stereo, thankds again man

Great, thanks. So I read your readme and, from what I understand, to get this to work I only need to paste the pak and autoexec files into their respective folders, correct? There is no need to launch the main exe with special parameters, rename/replace anything, activate the mod from within the in-game mod menu etc.? It will just somehow know to activate itself, I guess. Sorry, I don't mod much...
Exactly, simply paste the files and play the game, it activates by itself.. at least you'll need to set your resolution in doomconfig.cfg

This modification is perhaps the best that could be done with the classic DOOM 3. The level of detail on most levels is simply amazing. Particularly pleased with the highly detailed mechanisms placed on the levels. And finally, the normal textures in the elevators.
For the second month I have been replaying various graphic modifications of doom 3 - this one wins by a very large margin.
The only thing I miss a little is a working gamma correction. If you specify a gamma of 1.5 in the conf file, then you still can't see anything in the shadows without a flashlight, which looks a little strange, given the hanging lamp or other light source nearby. But in general - I'm delighted, this is a new life of the classics.
AMDNOW! thank you for your words. I kept default settings, but everyone can manage a balance between r_gamma and r_brightness to obtain the best setting for own screen. Stay tuned because V2.0 is on the way, some weeks and the mod will be way more complete and detailed.
