So let's start with what it is. Once upon a time, around the beginning of the development of TOS, I had an idea in my brain, but what if we create something similar to Battlefield, but in Crysis? And then I began to think through this idea to the smallest detail and at the same time I was adding new chips to TOS.

Since I wanted to give players the opportunity to play for all sides of the conflict in Crysis, the first step was to bring to mind the main feature of the mod - the ability to control aliens. After that, it was necessary to come up with abilities for the aliens and use those that already existed. So the system of abilities for aliens was born. And thanks to her, it became a little more interesting to play for the aliens.
If you recall Battlefield 2, then there you could command squads of your fighters. And then the question arose of how to do the same, but only for Crysis. After thinking and thinking, it was decided to create a squad system, where both the AI and the Player could command several members of the squad.

And after the main modules and systems were debugged, I started developing the conqueror system. She is responsible for exactly that Battlefield gameplay with capturing points and war. I wrote it from scratch, from capture points on the map to AI strategies and game interface. It took me the longest time to set up the AI for the conqueror system. Later, I discovered that the way the squad system was implemented to control the AI was wrong and unstable, so I had to write a custom AI activity tracker to make it easier to keep track of what a particular AI was doing at a given moment.

Along with the conqueror system, I wrote player classes for each faction. These are playable character classes, just like in Battlefield 2 and Star Wars Battlefront 2. By editing a special file, you can add your factions to the game and customize the playable classes.

The next task was to make the AI itself choose which point to spend its resources on. I knew that in Battlefield 2 there was a certain system of strategies, where strategies for a certain map were written inside the file. I created the same system for Crysis. The conqueror system uses strategies to make AI units act on their own and attack or defend strategic points on the map. You can even customize the strategies as you need, but you need to understand what you are doing)

Now, on March 24, 2023, I managed to create not just a mod, but a whole framework, if you can call it that. For example, to set up a new map for the Conquest mode, you do not need to write everything from 0. For mapmakers, a template has already been specially prepared for you to navigate when creating maps.
