If you mind me asking, what programs do you use for 3D modelling? I'm proficient in Autodesk Inventor so I'm wondering if I may use that.

I use Milkshape and I've created dozens of pretty high quality weapons for a ton of different mods. So just about anything will do just so long schachmatt can open it. :)

It's not about high quality though, but about making the best out of no more than 600 tris (~300 polys) for each weapon and about 6000 tris for each vehicle. So you gotta rethink how you make your models and know where to add details and where not to.

I've worked with DMz - I've gotten enough of him and his low-tri and but excellent work rubbed off. He gave once gave me a 1200 tri limit and I gave him 600 tris and still managed to make it look good. ;)
