A couple of small requests Thread - DoW II: Codex Edition (Unofficial Continuation) mod for Dawn of War II: Retribution
So this is a continuation of the mod made by one Gabriel Gorgutz forever ago, it has been seemingly dropped without any support and has obtained a lot of bugs and a lot of CTDs, I've made updates to the mod which reduce these issues as well as include the Tau and several balance changes, though the gameplay is still very similar to what was featured by Maestro Casts on YouTube a few years ago. If Gabriel has any issue with me uploading this, get in touch, I will be more than happy to take this mod down if he asks me to, but I hope that he and others will enjoy the work that I've put into his original project to make the mod work again with the current build of Retribution.

Just realized that the white scars had their own unique skins and i must say they look absolutely wonderful. One complaint i have though is that their power swords aren't curved, hopefully you could implement the curved version in some patch or hotfix. A small request: When you choose the Blood Angels as your color scheme is it possible to replace all the plasma pistols with infernus pistols instead? I would be surprised if that actually works. |

Absolutely, I've actually got a curved power sword asset I can use for just that purpose ^^. I will eventually get to all of the Space Marine chapters before getting to all of the Chaos Marine chapters in order to give every single loyal and traitor Astartes unit their own cosmetics. After that I plan to add some variety to IG & Ork cosmetics as well as Eldar, though I'm not 100% sure what I want to do there. I don't think so with the pistols though, as the roles of a plasma pistol and an infernus pistol are vastly different, would look a little odd to have melta pistols firing across the field Edited by: SquadBroken |
