Codename Gordon: Source, a recreation of Nuclear Vision's Codename:Gordon, is an upcoming Half Life 2: Episode 2 mod, which will bring the 2D game to all new dimension. With this new dimension, more detail and challenging levels are able to be made, whilst keeping to the original layout.

So I have plans for this mod. As my first mod, I want Codename: Source to look good, play good, and feel good.

The past two days, I have spent solely on both the Training mission, and Chapter 1. As you can see, the Dock is coming along nicely, there isn't much to show from the training missions yet (as I have done the first two rooms - one being pitch black). Now for these plans. I want to re-skin common enemies to make them.. different. I have the tools to start doing materials, and looked into it.. and looks like it will take longer as I have no clue what I'm doing. So if there is anyone out there, that is experienced in materials, I would love for you to PM me.

But apart from that, the level design is going well. Atmosphere is another thing I am working on during the development of C:S. Ran into a few angry errors before yelling something about "dynamic vertex buffer", I fixed that right up. Took me an hour or two to mend it though, I have never seen the problem before in my life. First time for everything right?
