[April Fools]New strategic map style image - Chronicles of Might and Magic mod for Mount & Blade: Warband
We want to introduce you mod to Mount and Blade Warband game. Action is set in realms known to you from Might and Magic series. We are going to provide you opportunity to become hero, join one of five factions and decide about fate of whole continent. You will take part in epic battles with creatures you know from Heroes games.

This is April Fools joke, but yours enthusiastic feedback will make us focus more on redesigning graphical style of campaign map.

As we mentioned before we like to put more emphasis on singleplayer in new version. An what can bring old good memories and familiar atmosphere more than 2d graphics on campaign map. All ground textures had been replaced with flat pixelarts from Heroes3. Additionally all army icons had been replaced with 2d sprites. Sadly due to engine limitations they aren't be animated currently. I can reveal that we are currently working on replacing some of troops on battlefield with 2D sprites to make mod feel like Heroes 3 and Might and Magic 7-8.

does this mean the game will run better on low end PCs?
No, creating such graphic style required form us to make some sacrifices. Because of big computation power requirement for achieving complete flatness our mod will require at least GTX970.
