SDK: Die Kampfgruppen (SDKDK) is the third chapter of the trilogy I have created based on the battle of Stalingrad. Following Stalingrad: Der Kessel , released in 2006 and Stalingrad; Operation Circle, released one year after. SDK: Die Kampfgruppen was intended at the beginning of its development to be a submod of Der Kessel, intended to relate the fights of these famous ad-hoc battlegroups, well known from those who have in interest for this battle, as Kampfgruppe Simons, Kampfgruppe Goebel, Gruppe Hollidt etc… Then, as time passed, I came to the conclusion that this”sub-mod” had become a truly new mod! In SDKDK, you will have the possibility to fight in the Don Ring, between November 19th and December 4th, with all these ad-hoc battlegroups in front of rushing Russian armored brigades from historically present 5th Tanks Army, 16th Tank Corps etc… The game is playable on 24 maps, most of them new or repainted, includes tons of new graphics, sounds and new AI settings.

I am very happy to let you know that SDK: Die Kampfgruppen is available for downloading! The plugin file and the intro video are in the downloads section, the mappack in the addons section. Have fun, and don't hesitate to contact me for help, technical support, comments etc... Panzerjäger |

Well done!, I've played two 30min battles thus far. Should we only be playing "elite" for Human & "recruit" for A.I., because I started a campaign as the Germans, & set my level to "veteran" & set "recruit", for the Russians. Wanting a little more variation in the units available to me. I like the reworking you did with the old maps & sounds, the medals look great. I like the menu music, it's volume level could be lowered a bit though. During the loud parts of the song, static can be heard. You should release alternative images for the main menu screen in the future, in plug-in format (like the one in the header). Don't get me wrong, the current image is great. Edited by: Digs |

Hi pzjager! I just wanted to thank you for your continous supplying of Stalingrad themed mods for CC5! Good work there! Additionally, I wanted to ask your permission to host the files on my clans webpages! Greetings! |

Hi friend, As far as these files remain on your clan website, no problem, you have my permission.
Hi, 1) As the campaign is quite long, I would suggest to play with the recruit settings for both sites. If you play the Axis, you will see that even with recruit setting, your forces are still limited! Cheers, my friend |

The header is the image at the top of the site. Last night I started the GC again, on another PC, & set myself as "elite" & the computer as "recruit". |

At least, it is a proof of your bravery. In my mind, it is unplayable.... Cheers Edited by: pzjager |

I started my first gc today and it looks great. i will probably have to play it for some more weekends to fully notice all the new details. so far I like the sound/music. the intro video was perhaps a bit too long for my taste. i guess the "russian submod" is for playing gc as soviets? |

Your right Galland, the "Russian submod" is for playing as the Russians. You don't need to install it if you just want to play as the Wehrmacht. It makes the game more difficult by limiting the units, artillery barrages, airstrikes, & ammunition available to you. |

Hi, The music of the mod is the Gabriel Fauré Requiem, Fauré being a French musician of the late 19th century. Cheers, and have fun Edited by: pzjager |
