This mod will convert the original C&C Renegade into an FPS version of the old RTS game "Total Annihilation". Click to find out more!
Here's the ARM Luger.
The ARM Luger are used as long range support on the Battlefield, or to bombard enemy Structures from distance, especially Defensive Structures such as the Light Laser Tower, G.A.A.T Gun from a distance. Thus ensuring safety for their friendlies.
The ARM Luger does only have one Attack, shooting it's high-explosive shell into the Air with a very High-Angle to hit it's target. Similarly like a Mortar works. Thus it can bombard from distance on over very big obstacles that might be in the way.
So to simplify it all - The Luger's not Line of Sight Dependant.
It needs a bit of improvement on the shape but so far it looks good. ^^
All models need improvement ^^ But was there anything particular you had in mind? :)
can you by chance make it like A path beyond so we dont need Renegade? if you cant do that then i beg of you to atleast try and get a better skirmish system in too. like map selection and different types of AI.
and one more thing, How are the core gonna be...put into infantry? will they start as AKs? Theyre minds where transfered into machines so will they be like androids? youve got lots of things to figure out so if you need any help just PM me.
Well I know how to make it Standalone(So you won't be needed the original copy of C&C Renegade.). But I'll need permission by EA Game before I make it Standalone.
I haven't really planned to add any Skirmish Mode, maybe in later version when I've got some stuff running...
Well the ARM and the CORE will be relatively the same, I still haven't figured out how to do yet. One option would be to replace the regular Infantry Skeleton with a Mech Skeleton, but that'd need a shitload of work and animations to be done...
Or if you just spawn as some random Infantry(Probably more Rebel-ish for the ARM, I suppose?) and you plug yourself into the 'Network'(Purchase Terminal) and go from there, your character will be put in the Vehicle after you've created your Purchase.
Yeah, I got a lot of stuff to think about :P Not the best planning, but at the moment I'm prioritizing the Model and Model Rigging to get most Vehicle and Structures ingame to get an idea of what would be best to do.
