Welcome on Casus Belli's 15th update! Today we're going to unveil the different game modes available in Casus Belli.
Game modes
- Advance and secure: aka AAS. In this game mode, your team will have to attack a front-line by capturing all of the flags belonging to it. Once you own the whole front-line, another set of objectives is released and the front-line advances. The action will be going only one way, defenders won't be able to capture the points back. Once you reached the final front-line, attackers will have a final goal to achieve in a limited time to win the game. This game mode is suitable for large maps such as Ghost Town or The Dam.
- Conquest: This mode really looks like the one from Battlefield 2. Each team has a fixed amount of tickets when the maps start. Every kill or flag captured will decrease the opponents ticket amount. This mode exists for large maps like The Bridge. In case you don't have many players online, a small version of maps such as Ghost Town exists.
- Capture the intelligence: This game mode is extremely suitable for games with few people (6-10), especially for LAN games. A suitcase containing some secret documents is dropped somewhere in the middle of the map. The goal for each team consists of picking up and keeping that suitcase as long as possible. When the intelligence is controlled by a team, the opponent is loosing points. The first team reaching 0 looses. This game mode suits perfectly some small maps such as River or the smallest version of Ghost Town.
