Casus Belli is a realistic multiplayer mod for Crysis Wars that is inspired from the Battlefield 2 game. It takes place the context of a third world war. You embody a soldier in many different surroundings, from the Afghan deserts to Ukrainian cities. Although Casus Belli is a First Person Shooter game, it involves some Role Playing games concept that make it unique. A new background: - More than 250 new assets (buildings, vehicles, objects, etc.) - Tens of new maps - Music composed by a professional composer and played by a true professional orchestra Half-way between Battlefield and Modern Warfare 2: - Crysis nanosuit removed - Advance and Secure game mode - Classes (assault, medic, recon, sniper etc.) - Squads (spawn on the group leader) Modern Weapons: - More than 20 new modern weapons (ak74, m4, hk416, g36c, etc.) - 8 new vehicles (Abrams, T90, Hummer, etc.) Total Immersion: - Advanced body awareness - Objects can be used to stabilize weapons
The communication system allows you to communicate with the members of your squad. You can ask for backup, medic and many other things.

BF2 style??? id recommend you to keep it original man, i think you should make it look different...you literally stole the concept, i dont really approve of that :\

Why not? You see, don't fix what's not broken. BF2 style is fine for me.
I actually see no point in copying the BF2 comrose as it´s not a very good one!
It´s cumbersome and slow to use and reguarding usability other games and mods have done a much better job!
For example the spacings between the commands are way too tight so you can´t just point in a general direction to hit the right command quicker! Americas Army 3 e.g. has done that better!
And in terms of perceptibility it should have icons added to the texts as human perception recognizes images a lot faster than plain text which makes using the comrose more intuitive and faster!
So, although it might not be really broken, I still would prefere a better solution than the BF2 comrose!
Works fine for me and millions of other players. You must be slow or something. If it ain't broken don't fix. It works and looks great, so why not use it? Like Dice care anymore anyway?
I didn´t say it doesn´t work, but there are better alternatives you can use a lot quicker, so why not improve it instead of just copying the BF2 comrose?
Btw, you can configure your key for the com rose, and use mouse to select your message, so no problem with keyboard confusion.

not to mention come on guys just cause BF2 uses the comma rose doesn't mean its only a BF2 thing

Using STALKER Models and menus pretty much directly from the game. It might as well be GMod with the ripping of material from one game into another.

Everything from .S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games is free to use in any other game engine so long as the project is non-profit and credit is given. Take note that they're also making new content themselves as well.
That's correct that one of our levels reminds of STALKER (The Ghost Town).
However, we did not take any assets from STALKER. Everything has been done from scratch ;)

If you have any problem with them just ignore them. And as D3ads said, everything from STALKER is free to use for non profit, and they are making it their own version, not an exact copy. please know your facts before posting.

agree with you both so i'm not really sure. having it exactly the same as BF2 is kinda lame. but at the same time like Hicks said, dont fix what isn't broken.

This is why I love this mod so much, it combines my favorite series BF3 with Crysis. :D
