This "Simple and Straightforward" mod changes many of the resources the game Carnivores 2 uses. For example, there is a new weapon replacing the pistol, the a new rifle. For now, only some of the weapons have been re-skined, re-sounded, etc., however this will hopefully turn into a mod with so much content you'll be able to pick from whatever weapons you want to create your own new hunting experience!
Desperation: Beta 1
Description
The first, main version of the mod, featuring 6 new maps, 9 new dinosaurs, and 8 new weapons. Have fun!
To install, extract the .zip and go into the extracted folder.
Then, right-click on Desperation.exe and click on properties. From there, go to the compatibility tab, and check the box for "Run in compatibility mode for Windows 98/ME"
Then, run Desperation.exe .

Every time I try to launch Desperation I get a Heap Allocation error!
Launch in Win 98/ME compatibility mode, this is a known issue with Carnivores 2/IA that was addressed in the patches which are not shipped with mods.
