Blood Extra Crispy is another mod created by me that will try and change things up once again for another classic game of my childhood. Expect more weapons, more fire modes, more gore, gameplay enhancements, and pretty much what's expected from yours truly. If you're looking for a fresh new experience with Blood then look no further. Attack Dogs!!!

also aren't Hell Hounds normally Cultist Attack Dogs?
Hellhounds are Chernobogs hounds.
I am considering adding blood to its front paws and face
but they do fill the same space don't they?
besides I think these different mutts might get into fights as well
I would assume they spawn at chance with a brown cultist and not replace Hellhounds.
Yeah that’s exactly how they work. I’d never swap out the hellhounds with these dogs. And no they don’t fill the same spot. These dogs die much easier and are there to beef up combat against the lowly cultist. They fill the gap between u and them quickly and add to the intensity of a battle. Hellhounds can bring u a good fight on their own. These Attack Dogs cannot.

This looks like it could be a great addition to the mod! However, I feel like I have to ask the potentially game-breaking question: can you pet the dog?
Just kidding...but someone was going to ask that eventually and I thought I'd get the jump on it.
Seriously though, attack dogs could be a good inclusion to the bestiary. Not as fast as Hellhounds (I presume) but a minor threat up close. Randomly swapping them out with Cultists and creating a type of synergy with that enemy type could lead to very interesting encounters.
They are a bit slower than hell hounds and much weaker in both attacks and damage resistance. But they will not be swapped out with shotgun Cultists. The cultists will have a chance at having one at his side. They’re like a long distance melee attack for them.
Having the dogs accompany the Cultists sounds even better than what I thought was happening! This could definitely make the firefights with standard enemies better than they already are, and that's saying a lot!
Can the Ackolytes have a chance to spawn Attack Dogs with TNT strapped to their backs ("Kamikaze Dogs"...or better yet, "Hot Dogs")? Is that too dark of a request?
That’s a little dark but not bad to me. The thing is I don’t want to make another set of sprites for an alternate dog type. However I think giving them a dog sometimes is a great idea.
