This version adds NATO 3.5 ammo types, providing a great deal more variety of application and balanced realism of performance.
Black Bag is a weapons mod being created for Black Ops 2.0 (which runs on the Rogue Spear: Black Thorn engine). Emphasis is on realism, though restricted to the weapons available in Black Ops 2.0. It aims to improve weapon reloading and firing sound effects, create new AI capabilities (like throwing grenades or suicide bombing, already in the mod, or carry non-weapon objects until confronted by RAINBOW), improve accuracy and recoil modeling, implement NATO 3.5 ammo types, modify AI and weapon accuracy for a more realistic playing game. Weapons will also be added.
Extract the .zip file to your Mods folder and activate Black Bag in the Mods Menu, giving it priority in the Options > Mods menu. You may need to delete any previous installations of Black Bag, depending on how you go about it.
Your file hierarchy should look something like this:
Rainbow Six Black Ops

------NATO3 Manual (has information about NATO ammo types)

This mod may not work with Rogue Spear or Urban Operations, as it has not been tested and some of the files reference files found in the Korean "Take Down" version of Rogue Spear.
Black Bag uses NATO 3.5's accuracy and recoil modeling for pistols and LWM 6's accuracy and recoil modeling for longer firearms. It also uses NATO 3.5's ammo types for player weapons. (There is presently a problem with assigning these ammo types to tango weapons. I believe it will be possible, but it will require work.)
Black Bag may also use user-interface graphics from other mods for weapons and equipment because I don't presently have the skill or desire to install and use the software that would be required to make my own. I will attempt to credit those mods when I do.
It might be possible to use this mod in competitive gameplay. Please share any video of attempts to do so, especially if it is amusing.
There are some alternate recordings included. You can swap them out by backing up the original file and then renaming the alternate to the default filename (referenced in the weapon's .kit file). There are numerous sound effects that I am not completely satisfied with, so I'll be keeping my ear out for replacement sounds for those:
