Map Update #6: Take A Guess... news - Star Wars: Battlefront Chronicles mod for Star Wars Battlefront II

Today, I'm taking a bit of a break from showing off in-game screenshots to share some images of an in-progress model for one of BFC's new maps. The model shown below actually came to life about one year ago, when I was still just toying around with potential ideas for content to include in a mod.

Astute Star Wars fans will probably figure out what the map's location is just by looking at the screens for a few seconds, but I like to be a tease every now and then! To get a sense of the model's scale, it is the basis for a medium-sized map. I think I'm more excited to see this map through to completion than any other map in the mod. It will be composed entirely of my own models, and it should make for some really fun gameplay. When the map is finished, it will allow players to fight both on the ground (in a relative sense, anyway) and in the air. This model is just the beginning, and the rest of the map will take a ton of work to design given the location's complex architecture, but I think all the effort will be worth it in the end.
