The recently released R2 includes the addition of air vehicles such as the beerglider and hot air balloon strapped with cannons! Released December 2008.

Are those vehicles or is that like a Ship V. Ship map between crews?

This is from a map called Dead Calm, which has two static (non-vehicle) tallships tangled up in a boarding action side by side. There are lots of different ways to run, jump, climb, grapple and/or fall to the other team's ship with the goal of knocking them off their boat. Its pretty intense with a lot of players on, and still loads of fun when you only have a couple guys to mess around with.
