Battlefield: Apocalypse - A Battlefield 2 Full Conversion They say the world was green once. Trees and grass. I've seen the pictures, but it's still hard to believe. How the hell did we come to this? There are a hundred different stories, and who knows what's true and what's not any more? You see, I was born After. Never got to feel the grass between my toes or climb a tree the way my grandad talked about. For all I know, he may have been the last one from Before, and he's gone now, too. I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later. Grandad said that men always seem to find a way to destroy each other, and themselves. Seems to me that they did a hell of a job this time, and took out the whole damn planet in the bargain. I guess we're not any different now, though. No lessons learned. First up, we were recently interviewed by GameSurge Radio, so if you haven't heard it yet, you can listen to the full interview HERE. It's nearly 20 minutes long and goes into some history of the mod, design details, and some exclusive news.

We also have two more weapon renders to show you today and now have nearly 1/3 of our 57 weapons in game, most of the rest are finished the modeling phase, and only a handfull left that still need to be started. The modelers should be finishing those last ones up pretty soon, and then we'll be moving on to new static objects, while the Design Department hashes out some more vehicle concepts. We're also still heavily engaged in porting over all our 350+ models from the BFV build of the mod. Those models were originally designed with BF2 polycounts in mind, so the only thing changing is how they are textured.

In his latest Modder's Journal entry, Juralis talks about his recent radio interview, what he thought about the experience and how he thought it went.

Like last week, we are going to unlock our Website Developer's Chat Room again during the day of a news release so that registered members can speak with the Developers directly to ask questions, offer suggestions, or just chat.

Click on the picture below to see a couple of new weapon renders and the new Modder's Journal page.
