Battlefield: Apocalypse - A Battlefield 2 Full Conversion They say the world was green once. Trees and grass. I've seen the pictures, but it's still hard to believe. How the hell did we come to this? There are a hundred different stories, and who knows what's true and what's not any more? You see, I was born After. Never got to feel the grass between my toes or climb a tree the way my grandad talked about. For all I know, he may have been the last one from Before, and he's gone now, too. I suppose it was bound to happen sooner or later. Grandad said that men always seem to find a way to destroy each other, and themselves. Seems to me that they did a hell of a job this time, and took out the whole damn planet in the bargain. I guess we're not any different now, though. No lessons learned. This week's update is just for fun. You see, the Apocalypse team first began as a bunch of DoomLab "Custom Mappers" that got together to start a mod. None of us had much, if any, modding experience. And the team has come a long way from those beginning weeks and months when we had little knowledge of modeling, skinning, and coding.

Along the way, we've experienced some pretty funny things during our trial-and-error experimentation into what we considered then as "An all new world of Modding". Everything was new to us and some things still are, and on occasion, things can go awry.

We have two videos to show... well, it's actually one... It's the same video in each, but one has the blooper footage with the original audio track that the developers put in, and the other has music dubbed over in it's entirety. It's basically a preference thing. There both small, so if you want, feel free to download both.

Juralis can explain some of this a bit more in this week's issue of the Modder's Journal.

Click on the picture below to read what Juralis had to say about our learning curve and download the videos.
