Battlefield 2: Unlimited Action is a Battlefield 2 modification which improves upon the base game by fixing many inconsistencies and glitches that were disregarded by EA/DICE, as well as adding new content that is based upon either new ideas, or cut content that never made it to the game's release back in 2005 and the subsequent releases of the three booster/expansion packs. Other goals of this modification are to modernise the game's visuals by adding various new effects, textures and lightmaps; to expand the co-op and singleplayer experience by adding bot support for all map layers, and lastly, to add new and innovative content that will improve upon the general gameplay and appearance of Battlefield 2, while staying true to the game in its vanilla state. - TheObscure

Yeah good point, however there are only a few areas where the HDR is this prominent and strong. There isn't really a gameplay influence here so I want to keep it like it is here.

Sometimes this happens with skybox textures and that makes flying just terrible. I still need to fix it for some maps that have it, like Dragon Valley.

After reading the description I knew this mod would most likely bear heavy on you Obby. The most ambitious projects can become the most difficult to finish, to the point they are no longer fun to work on but more a task to finish.

Hope you can find that middle ground between your original goals and current desire so that you can reach a sort of "finish point." I hope that people will be able to someday appreciate and acknowledge what you've accomplished in UA. Truth to be told from the outside looking in it would appear you've accomplished quite a bit. :)

Thanks for the kind words Chief! Yes, if you haven't noticed, I updated the TBD to the 4 quarter of this year. I plan on releasing v1.0 the 25th of December.

Yes you are right, I have accomplished rather a lot. I am nowhere near where I want this mod to be, but when looking how far I have come thus far it is hard to keep this under wraps for much longer. I will make a detailed article within the next week detailing what the release will contain and what content will follow post release. :)

I am just testing the waters with this update. Trying to see what the level of interest is in BF2 modding lately. The mod is not dead, however it isn't that much alive either. Every year I would mod for a few months and then stop. So what you see here is the current state of BF2:UA.

I am not going to list all the changes that have been made up until now, so I will rather leave it to you folks to tell me what is new.
