The new face of the "Rabbit Burrows" mod, back with bigger and badder aims, "Battlefield 2: Nothing Held Back" sees the warring nations of Battlefield 2 pull all the stops in their all out war, deploying both conventional and special forces to the familiar battlefields. In "Battlefield 2: Nothing Held Back" you will also have the chance to take on the evil Derkderkastani Terrorists and Kim Jong Il with the SAS's elite anti-terrorist units, for a chance to beat them with significantly less collateral damage. In the future it is also the mod's aim to release patches featuring a gripping single player campaign mode.
Work on the mod has just been put on temporary in order to redesign the concept a little bit, as I've just been informed about a few legal complications with the original idea.

Basically, this is a really short news update for the mod.
I was informed that "Legally you are not allowed to bring any xpack content to players who don't have those xpacks already".
"Oh bugger..." said I, who quickly set about removing the downloads from the public areas where they were posted.
And so work on the mod is on short term hold while I discuss with various people and wrestle to get people who are willing to participate in the mod team as we will not be in dire need of people who posses a wide range of skills in order to make the original concept a reality. At the moment it looks like the mod will no longer feature special forces, but may well feature new conventional armies and will almost certainly feature new maps. We will however still be adding a single player campaign at some point, it just won't be as good as it could have been...
Why can't western companies take the same angle on this as the Japanese would have?
