BTW: Had some Problems by setting up a dedicated server. Always crashs at 4% loading. Any idea whats the reason for this?

Had you made Linux server files too? Some Guys will start up a server with your Mod but they have a linux server, not windows.

figurd out the problem. if you installed the server file do this

get into assaultmod folder in your servers mods

delete this files
OBJECTS_SERVER.ZIP
DEMOS
LOGS
MOVIES
PYTHON
SETTINGS
WARTHOG. and then the sever should work. il put afix zip file online soon

i havnt made any linux servers cus i honestly dont know how. but if u can dl the files and just place them in certain spots. im sure the server will run

hey the dedicated server might take a while to fix. luckily the client to client non dedicated servers do work so i hope you can use that for a while while i search the hundreds of files for a fix

I dont know if its me but ...man so many bugs in that MOD, First Choppers dont get ANY damage by either hitting a building or hitting anyting for that matter, also in night vison lots a light texture that are disapearing...YOU always hearing someone shooting near you when you are alone and that is very anoying , and dont know why but in my bf2 browser i ONLY see one game be played so its weird...

IT looks like a good mod but for me its juste not playable at the moment WAY too many bugs to be fun playing....

there wer some bugs. ths is a temporary fix. now that servers work. mostly i can debug it further. 8.0 version should address most of the issues.

Cool I must say usualy i am better with the Choppers but those one are a litle bit hard to handle but will get the hang of it ...

Anytime you guys see me , ill be happy to either be your Gunner or flyboy i dont mind , Choppers is my game shure wish i had a real one :)

wich patch? is 1.4 fine? because i get error when I try to install 1.41

also, could you tell me how the hell to start this mod :) I'm installing everything in the D:\games\Battlefield2\mods\BF2ASSAULT but when I start the game there are no new maps, etc...

ok there is a shortcut that comes with the mod. itl have no picture. u must right click it. and make it change its source from cdrive to d drive. if not. u can also start it from bf2>community>mods. or u can copy ur bf2 shortcut and put this filepath in it instead

uh it needs 1.41 because there is stuff in tha pach that the mod requires. ur patch exe might be messed up. requires 1.41

damn! the bad thing is that I cannot install 1.41. and error appears in the middle of the installation...

you probably have a bad patch exe. re download it. that might do the trick

I managed to download the mod and I think it's GREAT! :)There is only one problem :D I can't recognize my team mates. In the original Bf2 they have blue text over them, but now they have nothing and it's very difficult (for me) to understand who is enemy and who is ally. So could you tell me what to edit in the gamefiles to get back my ally's blue names over their heads :P :D

I can only see 4 servers running and no one playing is it my browser that canot see any games ???? shure would be cool to play with someone :)

by editing the line ofcode in the mods gamelogicinit.con u can bring the names back

not alot of servers r running cus not many people know that there are working servers. and i still got a few bugs to fix. once the news post at totalbf2 and planet battlefield go up im sure servers will start popping up

IS this not meant to be compatible with BF2 1.5? I'm running 1.5 with the latest Assault mod and the only 2 servers showing are incompatible, plus the sounds are broken.
Iwo Jima is an awesome map btw :D and loving the night-raids too.

are there any unlocks in this mod? because i dont play online i was wondering if you had to unlock any of those guns or do you get them straigt up?
